Darryl is our Technical Services Manager his role is mainly to service the needs of our Techcare clients. A graduate of UCOL Wairarapa with certificates in Business Computing and Advanced Certificate of Business Computing we call upon Darryl for network integration and support. Darryl specializes in thin-client technologies, wide area networks, remote access and solving those thorny network problems.

Ian is another long-term member of the Technology Solutions team; he is our sales, support and business analysis consultant. With many years of commercial experience in systems analysis and integration Ian provides guidance in selecting computer systems, networks, servers and applications – including a range of financial and accounting solutions, that best suit our clients’ needs.

Nick joined our team early in 2010, he is the voice that answers our phones and he brings to the team a customer focus from his previous roles in customer service and management in the hospitality industry. Even though Nicks previous roles have been in hospitality he is no newbie when it comes to IT, he is also very good at keeping the guys in the workshop and out in the field on task.

Ross has a background in sales and graphic design, as an experienced desktop publisher Ross is familiar with most publishing applications in both PC and Mac environments. Ross adds much needed depth in our sales and administrative role and he makes sure you not only get what you need but also at the best possible price. He does however drive an Alfa Romeo, but we are learning to deal with it.

Warwick brings over 30 years of experience to the team with his career starting back in the seventies with radio and telegraph communications. Since then Warwick has worked on all manner of networks and technologies and currently provides network support to a wide range of clients and also assists with software development.

Stephen has relocated to New Zealand from Nottingham, UK where he was part of the team that supported the massive IT infrastructure at the University of Nottingham. Stephen looks after a number of schools in the region and also handles any Apple Mac issues.

Cat5
Role: Workplace Comfort

Cat5 is in charge of ensuring we have a comfortable work place to enjoy, to this end Cat5 will often be found testing the comfyness of chairs, sofas and carpet. Often Cat5 will try and carry out these duties in full sun or close to the Aircon dependant on ambient temperature. Indicative of Cat5's commitment to her role she will often fall alseep during testing. To date we have had no work place incidents of discomfort - this is all thanks to Cat5.

Dave has been involved in IT since 1988 with roles such as IT Manager for Waverley Municipal Council in Sydney but more recently in development and support. Dave specializes in web and software development, coding in PHP, XHTML, CSS, VB, .Net, SQL and Java. In 2002 he received the Computer World Excellence Award for Software Innovation sponsored by Microsoft NZ. Dave is currently enrolled at Massey University completing his BSc degree started at the University of Technology, Sydney extramurally.
Cat6
Role: Workplace Safety

Cat6 is our Health and Safety Officer. Cat6 will often be found patrolling the grounds looking for any hazards that may prevent her co-workers conducting their duties and removing them from the work palce, mice, wetas, spiders - you know - hazards. Cat6 is so safety conscious that she has been known to lower the water level in her drinking bowl to ensure it does not present a drowning risk.
